Our Story

In the summer of 2010, lifechurch and The Creek Community church merged to become New Life Community.

God has shown us that two groups of people from different church backgrounds can come together to serve a larger purpose. We've seen that our similarities are stronger than our differences, and that we can do more good in the Maple Grove and the surrounding community as one church than as two.
 

Our Purpose

Our vision at New Life Community is fourfold:

• Becoming disciples
  Our desire is for every member of NLC to become a fully devoted follower of God. In addition to regular church meetings, we offer a number of ministries to help connect people to Jesus.

• Being in community
  We believe that being a part of a Christ-centered community is essential in the life of the believer and strive to foster growth within an environment of mutual encouragement and care.

• Building families within our church family
  At NLC, we know that it really does "take a village to raise a child" and endeavor to come alongside families to support them in raising children with a heart for God.

• Being missional
  While meeting the spiritual needs of NLC members is important, we know that our true calling is to reach out to those outside of the church. Through the Church in Action, we serve those here in Maple Grove, throughout the Twin Cities and around the world!
